Welcome to Enable Acoustic Solutions, your one-stop for acoustic testing and documentation of sound masking systems performance in commercial environments.
We offer ASTM standardized testing for Specification, WELL Building, Green Building Initiative, and Facility Guideline Institute verification documentation.
Enable Acoustic Solutions (EAS) was founded to serve a need for verification of environments using standard acoustic testing-measurement and reporting procedures. As subject matter experts in the field of speech privacy, we help stakeholders achieve productive, private, and distraction free commercial environments. We pride ourselves in our commitment to customer satisfaction and our ability to provide better solutions for the variety of different commercial spaces requiring verified sound masking systems, speech privacy and high levels of occupant comfort.
We provide commercial facility owners, project specifiers, commercial interior specialists, and contractors /system integrators with standards based acoustic testing and detailed reporting services. We test and verify sound masking systems for proper operation and performance. Our attention to detail helps ensure the best possible outcome can be realized from your sound masking investment.
We produce ASTM based standards reports for specification compliance, Well Building Institute certification documentation, & Green Building Initiative (GBI) verification of sound masked environments. We also ensure FGI (Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI) directives are met in various healthcare facilities where sound masking is deployed. Finally, EAS provides speech privacy performance reporting in accordance with ASTM procedures denoting a sound masking systems effectiveness. This to "ENABLE" our client's to meet specific project acoustic testing, performance, and documentation requirements.
Our services include the test-measurement, consulting, and reporting of speech privacy levels in commercial environments. We use ASTM standard measurement procedures to document the levels of speech privacy both prior to and following the installation of sound masking systems. We also document sound masking levels per the Facilities Guideline Institute / Well Building Standard Institute / Green Building Initiative. We utilize these metrics to rate the effectiveness and comfort of working environments and patient facilities.
Commercial spaces such as open offices, private offices, lobbies, waiting rooms, and several others can benefit from increased speech privacy levels. These areas have a need to minimize the distraction of others present in the space and increase confidentiality. Furthermore, healthcare patient facilities also benefit from increased speech privacy levels to best maintain patient confidentiality (HIPPA) and increase patient satisfaction (HCAHPS). Both commercial office spaces and healthcare environments rely on sound masking systems for productivity and privacy.
Enable Acoustic Solutions offers independent ASTM / WELL Building / Green Building Initiative / Facilities Guideline Institute acoustic testing and reporting products often required by specifiers during a sound masking project closeout. These tests quantify a sound masking systems performance against specific target standards. While there are several testing procedures, both ASTM E1573 and ASTM E1130 reporting are common requests of acoustic consultants and project specifiers to meet acceptance.
We offer independent third party acoustic testing and verification of performance for a sound masking systems signoff through our offerings. A variety of ASTM & ANSI standards measurements and documented reports are available to the AE and specialty acoustic consultant community. We can verify your project for specification compliance in most situations including FGI Guidelines for Hospitals, Outpatient Facilities and Residential Healthcare as stipulated by GBI. We also provide verification of WELL Building Institute standards.
End users may wish to comply with various sustainable building standards or meet facility guidelines for building certification. Furthermore, it is often desirable to compare differing approaches to an acoustic issue prior to making any changes in an environment. Enable Acoustic Solutions offers a unique method of predictive performance through onsite evaluation and can offer our years of speech privacy and sound masking system knowledge both prior to and following installation. While we do not install or directly sell sound masking systems, we do offer both initial and ongoing evaluation of all types, makes , and brands of sound masking equipment to ensure proper operation.
Our team of experts have worked in the realm of architectural acoustics as acoustic consultants for many years. We spent several years specializing in sound masking performance having worked as technical - on staff resources for several sound masking equipment manufacturers. We have educated integrators how to be successful with sound masking technologies. We understand how current sound masking systems perform best in given circumstances and can assist your team in a successful deployment. We are the highest level of subject matter experts in sound masking systems.
Sound masking system tuning is most typically provided by either sound masking systems installer or often sound masking manufacturer's representative. Performance can vary widely on both accounts due to expertise, test equipment, and methods used . As an independent consultant, EAS is developing an education program to "Enable" proper sound masking tuning by competent integrators / installers leveraging their own technical staff to properly tune sound masking systems. Combine your sound masking project and our years of sound masking into an education experience. - Coming Soon !
