Our History
With nearly 35+ years of experience in architectural acoustic / testing & measurement, we formed Enable Acoustic Solutions to meet the increasing demand for acoustic testing of sound masking systems and speech privacy solutions. We are sound masking testing "SME's) (Subject Matter Experts) that have spent the last decade plus helping others achieve their speech privacy goals by educating how sound masking systems work and how to achieve the best performance from their installation.
Our team
Our team comes from the acoustic consulting industry having specialized in architectural acoustics and A/V system design for a number of years. During the past decade plus, our team of technical experts have concentrated on the sound masking industry and working for several of the top manufacturers of sound masking systems equipment. We provide expertise and guidance to those wishing to obtain better performing acoustic environments minimizing the distraction of others in a space and bolstering levels of speech privacy.

We perform tests using published standardized procedures from ASTM and report in compliance with several leading industry standards. We meet with our clients to outline the process so you know exactly what to expect prior to our arrival onsite. We discuss client needs and review any project specifications and drawings. We plan to facilitate access to spaces, develop a map of sound masking test locations, and prepare for the acoustic testing benchmarks to be collected. This important initial step allows us to thoroughly prepare for our time onsite well in advance.

Using the ASTM sound masking testing procedures required, we spend time as necessary onsite to collect acoustic testing data as outlined by the standard. This can often entail measurements with and without sound masking present. The number of testing locations vary by standard but are often based on the size of the facility where sound masking is present so vary greatly with facility size.

Following the acoustic testing data collection phase of the project, we compile and electronically submit the final report documenting the onsite sound masking testing results. EAS has developed a brief summary method outlining the overall objectives of the standard but also includes all core technical reporting data for each testing location captured in accordance with ASTM.
